Full Moon in Libra

Balancing Love, Perseverance, Manifestation, and Letting Go

Full Moon in Libra and Swati Nakshatra Tuesday, April 23, 18:47 CST. The Moon sets the stage for Vata energy to move through the zodiac in the way only Libra can. Libras can see life in a multidimensional way and have the intelligence to create better ways of doing things and do many projects simultaneously. Issues arise when Libra forgets themselves in the process, and that is why the word balance is often used to describe Libra. The deeper lesson is obvious here. Pick the thing you want to go for in this cycle and let the rest drop away. The ruling deity of Swati Nakshatra is Vayu, God of the wind, so let the wind carry you where you want to go and be mindful so you are not scattered in the ethers!

This Full Moon will give you a nice challenge. If you’re up for it. Is this going to be a tornado or a gentle breeze?

The following placements are from the chart of the Full Moon in Libra. Focus on each step to get the most out of your Full Moon experience!

Step one:

5th house of Dharma:Saturn in Aquarius Purva Bhadra Nakshatra

6th house of healing: Mars sensitive and spiritual in Purva Bhadra Nakshatra

Purva Bhadra connects Aquarius and Pisces and allows you to understand the reason you are on this earth. This healing work is for Dharma.

The merging of the 5th and 6th houses takes you from realizing what you love to evaluating how much effort you will put into the healing required to achieve it. Contemplate this in silence and journal or create what comes up.

Step Two:

6th house of healing: Mercury R debilitated in Pisces Revati Nakshatra is supported when retrograde but still shows difficulty in communication.

6th house of healing: Rahu in Pisces and Revati Nakshatra, confusion, obsession, shadow.

6th house of healing: Venus in Pisces and Revati Nakshatra, sensitive in relationships

Confusion about effective steps, communication, and love can throw you off track. Revati is the final Nakshatra of the zodiac, where we complete a transformation so we can rebirth ourselves into a new way of being. Here, we can have the kind of healing that comes from facing the truth of ourselves and developing self-trust. Meditating until you feel clear enough to move into manifestation is the best use of this energy.

We are in the windstorm, which is the current situation in the 6th house from the Moon. How is the contemplation from step one supporting you here? What is asking to be transformed? More silence and meditation for answers.

Step Three:

7th house of relationships: Sun in Aries and Ashwini Nakshatra, Sattvic fire, purification, exaltation, self-mastery to become the version of yourself who attracts the right relationships.

7th house of relationships: Jupiter in Aries and Kritika Nakshatra. Sensitive, spiritual, expansive wisdom of the liminal, the ability to challenge yourself and make the necessary changes.

After your transformation, what new approach needs to be created for you?

Step Four:

12th house of Soul Liberation- Ketu in Virgo and Hasta Nakshatra.

If you missed something, it will be cleaned up in a karmic way that may feel unwelcome. Being honest with yourself in the previous steps can soften the blow.

This is where you can lose your confidence in all the previous steps. If this happens, ask yourself what you are still holding on to that needs to go.

Checking in with your body and spending time in silence, what is coming forward for you? What dreams have recently come into view? Have you taken steps toward them? Have you become the next-level version of yourself and are ready to shed the excess and be reborn into a new way of being? This is what’s now possible for those prepared to take the leap!

Create and manifest!

Be mindful of caring for your body- do all the Vata pacifying things, eat grounding foods, practice self-Abhyanga, stay away from drama, follow your daily routines with vigilance, etc.… You may be feeling overwhelmed with never-ending tasks and ready to quit, so make a plan to get on some of this stuff after the Moon reaches its peak. The energy will be there for you to make progress on releasing what no longer serves. Spend as much time in silence as possible. Spend time outdoors and feel the wind! Your answers will come to you.

This information is based on Ayurvedic Astrology, as the zodiac is at the time of the upcoming Full Moon. There are many more layers that depend on each individual’s natal birth chart.
